Welcome to our New Website, and a New Summer Season at Rowan Tree House!
We're pleased to announce the launch of our new website - the old one having been in need of an update for some time!
We hope you'll find all the information you're looking for - both about Rowan Tree House Bed and Breakfast, but also about the wonderful Whitby area in which we're situated.
As spring finally appears to have arrived and the horribly cold and damp weather disappears we're looking forward to another busy summer season here at Rowan Tree House.
Whitby's a great place to come for a short break, or a longer stay, and there's always something to do or a special event to experience.
Some of this year's highlights include:
Whitby Regatta
This year held between the 19th and 22nd August - Whitby Regatta is one of the oldest sea regattas on the North East coast of the UK and has drawn large crowds from around the country for over 175 years.
North York Moors Steam Gala
The Steam Gala is a must for fans of steam engines - this year it is being held between 30th September and 2nd October - currently details are hard to come by, but more information will be published throughout the year.

Musicport
Firmly back in its hometown, Musicport is one of the country's best world music festivals with acts from around the world descending on Whitby for a weekend of wonderfully exotic music. This year it is being held on 21st - 23rd October.
Folk Week
Whitby Folk Week is another world-beating festival of music and dance - this year running from 20th - 26th August.
We'll be updating our new blog with as much information as we can over the coming weeks - ensurring we're able to keep our guests informed with the latest goings in in our wonderful coastal town.
Whether you come to Whitby for a special event, or just come to relax and unwind for a few days by the sea, we're sure you'll have a wonderful time and we look forward to welcoming guests old and new this year.
